How to: Install Additional/Third Party/Other Fonts in Kubuntu
Fonts are still a common issue for user’s migrating to Linux. I myself admit that it ain’t easy to deal with the default font rendering of Linux coming from the usual style of windows have. Then you have this dilemma on how you could import or install the fonts that you have in windows before. Don’t worry, it’s not a tedious task to do. Ubuntu Flavors
What is the best Ubuntu for you? This is I believe the most asked question, well aside from “Is linux Really Free from Virus?” if a new user happens to brave and explore the world of Linux, isn’t? But why choose Ubuntu?
Ubuntu has been the best linux distro out there. It can be proved in distrowatch.com. The growing popularity and community behind it is just a true test of why it became the best from the rest. Ubuntu and it’s variant is free of charge and will always be free. No License, No keys.

Easiest Way to Install a Grub Boot Screen
In Kubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04, the default grub screen is a bit dull as compare to Linux Mint if you have used Mint before. It can be changed like what Mint did to their own distro package but it requires some manual editing of the menu.lst. If you don’t know what menu.lst is here’s a simple definition taken from google.

Is Linux Really Free from Virus?
This post was actually inspired by one of my favorite blogger in Malaysia, Vickie. She has a post regarding a malware that infected her computer via a Pen drive, in which I believe is true to most or should I say to all Windows users. I actually made a comment by saying “it’s now time to use ubuntu” but thinking about it for a while, I notice that I haven’t had any post regarding security over Linux.
