Having a blog and monetizing it isn’t really easy at all. Most first time bloggers that I see nowadays are trying very hard to earn a few cents from their blog through google adsense without any background knowledge or information about search engine optimization. Some of them just lazily placed the code and stopped from there. Others have an excellent writing skills but doesn’t know how to reach a much wider audience. These were major factors for blog monetization and you have to exert a lot of time effort and pressure to gain something for it. Sure thing google adsense was an easy one, but you have to bring the traffic to earn something from it.

That is why alternative monetization programs such as Payperpost and Social Spark was a big hit. They offer a unique way for bloggers to make money online through making a review of a specific product, website or buzz. That’s not all, blog ads and affiliate links extends the opportunity to earn more by making a commission through a successful referral. With PPP and Social Spark, traffic is not a big deal. So as long as you have good writing skills, a descent blog and a considerable amount of traffic, you’re qualified to be a postie. A very good alternative to google adsense indeed.

Hey, I just joined a contest here courtesy of affiliateconfession.com. I’m actually an avid reader of his blog for quite sometime but I had never made a chance to make a comment or anything. I guess it will attributed to my lack of knowledge still in affiliate marketing. So far, I have learned a lot and most likely I’ll have my first ever BANS store in the future.

Anyway, whats with that contest?

Alan is giving away an uber cool gadget that he won in the Webmaster Talk Contest. It’s a Nintendo D Lite together with 2 games, CN Racing and The Grinch. This will be the top prize. (I hope to win this!)

Second prize is a Flip Mino Camera courtesy of Market Leverage. I have watched the video he made through this camera (the drum playing) and I am surprised on how good the video turned out. It’s Really amazing!

Did You Know Busta Rhymes?

I’m not really in to Rap Music. The first time I hear Busta Rhymes featured Linkin Park in a MTV show I was completely blown away. That was the best MTV performance I have ever seen. That also marks my first time to enjoy rap music. Locally we had Andrew E and Francis M but their acts is way to off to this internatioanl Rap Icon Busta Rhymes.
