I’m Now Hosted with BlueHost
Yes. This blog is now hosted with BlueHost, one of the world’s best hosting provider. I decided to move to BlueHost since my other site which is nursingcrib.com is expecting a huge traffic from the examinees who took the June 2008 PRC Nursing Board Exam here in the Philippines. I really don’t want to leave my previous web hosting provider as they were the first one who hosted my domains for free. Yes, free of charge. But of course, with free of charge comes less computing power. Though they were very kind and generous to all my request but it seems that I’m already at my limit and pushing it once again this time is not the best option.
Why BlueHost?
Ever since I started blogging, BlueHost was the one being recommended by most forums and online publication that I read. Even before I purchase a package, their support was superb and they were able to answer all my questions without a hitch. And right after I purchase the package, they were very helpful on how I can properly transfer my account to them. Their chat support is a BIG PLUS because if you experience a downtime, you can immediately click on the Live Chat to state whatever problems you are encountering.
Some of the Power Pack Features includes:
- Unlimited Domain Hosting
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- Unlimited Disk Storage
- Free Domain Name
All for the price of $7.95/month. I just signed up for 1 year plan, but if can you want to avail the $6.95/month then you need to sign-up for a 2 year subscription. And by the way, one more thing that I notice is that, their chat support uses a Linux PC, Ubuntu specifically. I was really surprised and amazed. They actually provided me the screenshots on how I can transfer my database, and that reveals the platform they were using (i’ll show the screenshot later). BlueHost certainly supports the Linux community.
Though I think you notice already some minor glitches now which apparently is my fault. Some of my post before appeared in my reader and I know that you got it too. I apologize, those were hidden post that I don’t want to be included in my feeds as they were meant for SEO and P*id P*st. Shhh! All of them has been fixed now.

If you are looking for Linux hosting / Support in the UK – try http://www.forlinux.co.uk
They are a small company, but very good at tech support and hosting.

hey, goodluck on your new webhost! I’m still using the free 000 webhost that you featured before… so far it’s good (though yes, there are downtimes once in a while, specially at peak hours)…
I even transfered one of my expiring domain/blog to it.
I’m having trouble picking the right (right meaning cheapest! hahaha) webhost… I’m undecided between YRhost and the other one I forgot-the-name.
