My Linux Mint Desktop
Linux Mint February 11th, 2008
Hello guys! just sharing the look of my Linux Mint desktop. The customization is not yet done and still far from over but I’m very proud to say that the elegance that Linux Mint has is living it’s expectation. The screen shot has Firefox version 2.0.010 using Aqua tint black gloss 1.0.1 with metagrip window border from art.gnome.org, my own version of AWN (the dock), the Mac Icons and the Cairo clock using zen skin. On top is the taskbar, I made it semi-transparent black (it looks cool) but still it wasn’t the perfect customization that I’m looking for.
Now better viewing experience, just click on the picture to enlarge it to 1440 x 900 screen resolution. Be patient coz it may take a little while loading a high resolution image.

Doesn’t look to shabby at all.
Here is my desktop : http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/1049/200802072340071280x1024kp9.png
Have given up using AWN as it uses so much space as compared to the gnome panel.

you’re desktop is simply amazing. I like it, specially the transparent effects.
For my desktop, it’s just the beginning hehe. I know the possibilities are endless if you really like to customize your Ubuntu OS.
