		<description>To be fair gOS is not Linux Mint. Its purpose is different. gOS was designed to be a frontend to the Internet that most people use it for -- mail, IRC, surfing, FaceBook/MySpace. It also had to have a small footprint. Remember that gOS was introduced as part of the Everex box that WalMart sold Xmas last year. As a consequence it also had to be as much point and shoot as possible hence the use of AWN.

For what gOS was designed for I consider it successful. Is it a replacement for my Kubuntu install? Nope. But for a kisok platform it fits the bill.</description>

		<description>It was a great concept, it&#039;s just that all basic application that you&#039;re looking for are already in ubuntu. Aside from the Google Apps shortcuts and my space interface, there&#039;s nothing more in store for gOS.</description>
